Making Friends

Jacklynn has been making lots of new little friends. Since she tags along with me when I babysit, the kids have grown quite attached to her. The weather has been so nice so we went to the park with my friend Katie and her kids. This is her daughter Ava in the stroller with Jacklynn.

Also, we went out to dinner to celebrate "Uncle Adam"s 21st birthday at Bennihanas. It was one of Jacklynn's first times to dress up, but she did not seem to really get into the whole ambience of the restaraunt.

We spend a lot of time with Kayla and Emma and their mommy, Nic's cousin Lisa. They get along really well with the little ones I babysit...Logan, Lexa, and Masie. And all of the kids love "Baby Jacklynn." Here is a picture of all of the kids at Cecil's barn fingerpainting. They loved it! A lot of firsts...

Jacklynn has become so alert and fun over the past week! She is starting to smile more and it is fun to experiment with her. For instance, if she would fit in a baby swing and how she looks in a tiara. I went back to work this past week, so we are both adjusting to a new schedule. It is been a little bit of a challenge figuring out the sleeping thing, but we will figure it out!

Trip to Chicago

March 10 Nick, Jacklynn, and I took an overnight trip to Chicago. My dad and Ben were there to watch the Big Ten Championship. We got to go to the championship game at the United Center. It was great! Jacklynn's first big basketball game...and her first time to meet her Uncle Ben!

Sisters...

We have had a few out of town visitors over the past two weeks. My sister Steph came a couple weeks ago and Nic's sister Cara was just here until she left today. It was so great to have them here! Obviously, they came more to see their precious niece, but we didn't mind that we were 2nd priority! It is definitely hard to have so many close family members living far away. We miss them so much!!

One Month Checkup

We went to the doctor this past Wednesday for Jacklynn's one month check-up. Her weight is now 11 lbs. 9 oz. and her length is 22 1/4 in. She had to have a shot and was not to entirely thrilled, but here she is with her first little band aid. We are loving her more and more everyday! She is developing her own personality all the time and actually has rolled over from her stomach to her back four times. CRAZY!!
