I realized that I did not post any pictures of my dad, so here are a few pictures of Jacklynn's Grandpa Foley. We love and miss him tons and also are so thankful for the Colts mobile he brought to the hospital!

Mommyhood
Becoming a mother has been an amazing and exciting experience! It blows my mind to think of how God created her inside of me and helped her grow strong and healthy in order to present her as a gift to Nic and I. The past few weeks have truly been great. As far as sleeping, she actually does it...eating, she loves it...and being content is basically her middle name! I could not ask for a better baby! I have so much fun dressing her and giving her a bath and taking her places...it is like she is my little trophy that I am so proud of! Everyone warns me of how the days will go so fast, so I have been trying to make the most of every moment! Thank you so much for all of you that have sent cards, presents, and food...you are a true blessing! I wanted to post these pictures below just to show off! :) OH and our photographer posted a few of her pictures on their blogspot...http://www.carpenterpd.blogspot.com so check them out! She is just so dang cute...
3 Weeks Old!
For only being 3 weeks old, Jacklynn has experienced some pretty big events in her life...
We have had some major snowstorms over the past two weeks that have forced Jacklynn and I to be homebound. I can't get over how much snow there is and how bad the drifts are. Honestly I don't even think you could make it to the front door with all of the snow. 
For Valentine's Day, Nic, Jacklynn, and I went with Nic's parents out to Kona Grill for dinner. I had been craving sushi for the past 9 months so Kona seemed the place to go. Like usual, Jacklynn slept through dinner, but it was a good time!
This past Sunday was the Daytona 500...or the Superbowl of Nascar. In case you were unaware, Nic and I are pretty big Dale Jr./Nascar fans, so naturally Jacklynn was quickly introduced to the sport. We helped her dive in head first to the Nascar fan pool by watching the race with some fellow die hards...the Humphress'. Unfortunately Dale Jr. was in a race ending wreck towards the end of the race, but it was an amazing finish and victory for Kevin Harvick.
Can you believe it? I still can't! The Colts actually WON the Superbowl! The games leading up to the big game were amazing...and all the hype in this city has been out of control! We were so excited that Jacklynn got to experience it...although more than likely she will not remember much of the game!

Well, as most of you know, Nic and I welcomed our first child into the world via C-Section on January 25, 2007 at 7:01 PM. Jacklynn Jane has been a precious addition to our life and we love every moment we spend with her!
The 1st week of her life we had to make a few trips to the doctor because they were concerned about her gaining weight and she developed a little bit of jaundice while still at the hospital that they wanted to keep an eye on. Her jaundice went away almost immediately. Her weight dropped to 8lb. 6oz. from her birth weight of 9lb. 7oz. so we began feeding her formula. Almost immediately she gained weight back and is at her birth weight currently.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Well, today is Valentine's Day and Jacklynn and I are stuck in the house again. We have been here actually since Monday evening due to the blizzard like conditions Fishers is experiencing. OH well! It is still beautiful to look outside!
Jacklynn has enjoyed her first Valentine's Day thoroughly. She took her first nap in her big crib and slept amazingly well. Also, she got to wear her first pair of jeans!! Yeah, how exciting!
