The 1st week of her life we had to make a few trips to the doctor because they were concerned about her gaining weight and she developed a little bit of jaundice while still at the hospital that they wanted to keep an eye on. Her jaundice went away almost immediately. Her weight dropped to 8lb. 6oz. from her birth weight of 9lb. 7oz. so we began feeding her formula. Almost immediately she gained weight back and is at her birth weight currently.
It was great to have my mom and sister here to help out at first! They were a blessing! While they were here we went to visit my great grandma, Jacklynn's great great grandma, in Anderson. She is an amazing woman and I can not imagine living long enough to meet my great great granddaughter!
