Holiday World & Splashin' Safari

This past weekend we took a McCord family trip to Santa Claus, IN. If I'm being honest, I wasn't that excited about taking a 6 month old to Holiday World, but it ended up being so much fun. I am so glad we went! The weather was amazing, the food was cheap and good, the people are friendly, and you get free drink refills all day...not to mention the family time was perfect! The first ride Jack took on was the antique cars. I wasn't sure she would get into, but the fussiness in line ended the second she took the wheel! A lot of the stuff in the kiddie section will be so much more fun next year, but there were still a few things she enjoyed...

I don't know what it is, but in this family there is a serious draw to overpriced carnival games. Especially the one where you take a mallot and hit this thing which in turn sends the plastic frog that you laid on the front part flying into the moving lilly pads. Exciting, huh?! Actually it is! And Cecil won 4 monkies doing it...and Nic won 1! Jacklynn LOVED the monkies!
We spent the night in Santa Claus on Sunday and then headed to Splashin' Safari on Monday. We didn't get a lot of pics there, but the lazy river and the wave pool were Jacklynn's favorites. The slides were amazing too!
